The Porch a Mens Sober Living Recovery House is located in San Diego’s, South Park. This area is a charming and up-and-coming neighborhood. We are nestled along 30th St. and Cedar, a quick five minute drive to downtown San Diego. There is easy access to the 5, 15, 805, and 94 freeways. The Porch is in walking distance of the historic Balboa Park, which features gorgeous grounds, beautiful museums, and the world famous San Diego Zoo. This serene neighborhood features wide streets, old trees, and unique craftsman-style architecture. If you are in the mood to hit the golf course or frisbee golf course we are also in walking distance to Balboa Golf Course and Morley Field. Most importantly we are fortunate enough to be situated directly next door to 10 AA meetings a week

Rules and Regulations:
The Porch is dedicated to help each resident return to society as a productive and self-supporting individual. Residents are required to attend daily AA meetings, a Monday evening house meeting, and Wednesday evening big book study (lead by an individual with 15 years of sobriety.) The minimum stay is a 30 day commitment. Typically most residents stay longer, and there is no limit as to how long one can stay. All residents may be subject to random drug- testing as well.
